Remote signing lets individuals and organisations sign electronic documents anytime, anywhere on a phone, computer or browser, without a USB token. An Phat supplies the solution from Ascertia (UK), a PKI and trust services specialist whose SigningHub signing platform and ADSS Server trust services server power more than 100 trust service providers worldwide.
Each user’s signing key is protected in an HSM hosted by the trust service provider and is used only when the signer gives approval on their registered phone with Face ID, fingerprint or PIN, meeting the requirements for qualified electronic signatures under the EU eIDAS Regulation. Signatures remain verifiable long after the certificates expire. An Phat advises on, supplies and integrates the solution with an organisation’s existing business systems, on-premises or in the cloud.
